WVRSOL Volunteer Application

West Virginians for Rational Sexual Offense Laws (WVRSOL) is an unincorporated non-profit association working towards a safe, just, and prosperous West Virginia. WVRSOL promotes fact-based legislation that serves to encourage growth and success while protecting the civil rights of all West Virginians. It is good people like yourself coming forward to volunteer their time and resources who give our movement strength. Please completely fill out and submit the volunteer application below. We respect your privacy and everything in this application will remain confidential.

Note: While not an absolute, as a general rule, we encourage you to focus on compliance and maintaining a low profile if you are on parole, probation, or supervised release. As such, we are very cautious about allowing said restricted people from actively volunteering, and if so, only with the supervising authority's explicit permission(1).

Volunteer Agreement

 

I have read and agree with the vision and mission of WVRSOL. I understand that WVRSOL does not advocate or condone sexual activity between adults and children, or any other illegal or harmful acts. I am volunteering to help promote fact-based laws that will serve to protect the rights and well-being of all West Virginians. Even though I may not agree with all the current laws, I agree to follow them until they are changed. I understand that any services to WVRSOL are completely voluntary and may be stopped at any time by myself or WVRSOL. I understand that as a volunteer I am not authorized to speak on behalf of WVRSOL or to present myself as an official representative of the organization. Moreover, I understand that if I'm on parole, probation, or supervision that I will discuss my desire to volunteer with WVRSOL and receive approval/permission(1) from those with authority over me to serve as a volunteer for WVRSOL.
